Originally trained as a Teacher of Outdoor Education, Paul’s experience crosses the voluntary, public and business sectors where he has worked in a variety of roles spanning community development, health, higher education and small business investment. Paul’s focus within Cloudberry is on first aid training, first aid cover for events, water awareness and compliance training.
Paul is a qualified Mountain Leader, an active member of the Northumberland National Park Mountain Rescue Team where he is Deputy Team Leader and Water Officer. Committed to his continuing development Paul has completed the Rescue Emergency Medical Technicians course with the British Association of Ski Patrollers. He has travelled, walked and climbed in many parts of the world. His most enjoyable outdoor activities include winter mountaineering, rock climbing and hill walking. From 2016 he has started to focus his attention on completing journeys in cold and snowy places.

Iain draws parallels between the challenges one faces in the outdoors and those within organisations to provide incisive insights into critical issues. He has helped organisations interpret the strategic challenges they face and develop plans to respond effectively. Iain also uses his skills of facilitation, support and challenge in a wide set of circumstances from helping partnerships to plan strategic futures, providing team building for top teams and leading talent development programmes. Within Cloudberry Iain’s focus is on the use of the outdoors for individual coaching and team development.
He has many years experience delivering outdoor experiential learning and has travelled, walked and climbed across the world. Iain is also a qualified Mountain Leader, Team Leader of the Northumberland National Park Mountain Rescue Team and a former Search and Rescue Dog handler. His most enjoyable outdoors activities include winter mountaineering, rock climbing, hill walking, fell running and mountain marathons, mountain biking and wild camping.

Our band of event first aiders are a qualified and experienced lot with decades of service in Mountain Rescue, Military, Ambulance and the Fire Service. They bring their skill in practical first aid and ability to manage incidents to first aid cover for events.
